Questo pomeriggio parto per Bergamo. Domani mattina arrivo a Mantova. Domenica sera torno a Bergamo. Lunedì torno a Roma.
Per non farvi disperare per la mia assenza, anche un video musica: "Sentenced to burn" dei Cannibal Corpse. I CC sono il gruppo più commerciale e orecchiabile del brutal death metal. Hanno avuto un attimo di notorietà nel recitare un cameo in "Ace Ventura: l'Acchiappa-Animali" con Jim Carey. Il loro migliore album è "Vile", il resto sono tentativi di replica con alcuni bei pezzi ma senza voglia di fare qualcosa di nuovo. Alcuni preferiscono i primi album, prima di "Vile", con un altro cantante, ma a me non piacciono. I CC non hanno la classe dei Monstrosity e dei Suffocation, però sono il gruppo probabilmente più longevo della storia del metal estremo. Ormai vanno in giro da quasi vent'anni. Bellissimo leggere i testi con cadaveri fatti a pezzi e vedere i video dei musicisti che giocano a Pro Evolution Soccer con i figli.
Il pezzo ha una straordinaria caratteristica. E' praticamente l'unico dei CC con un testo che, pur se sanguinolento, è perlomeno significativo, addirittura bello. La mia parte preferita è "Guardate il gregge / Si ammassa per essere macellato / Seguaci nella vita / Seguite nella tomba".
